The aim of this game is to create as many unit fractions as possible by using the digits 1, 2, 3, and 4. You may group students in pairs to play the game.
- Use the digits 1, 2, 3, 4 each time you create a unit fraction. You can add, subtract, multiply or divide them. You can use parenthesis too.
- Each unit fraction created is three points. If you can find more than one way to represent the fraction, each additional expression is worth five points.
- You can create equivalent fractions to represent the unit fractions.
